This page provides an archive of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) ambient air quality monitoring reports. According to the DEC website:
Summary tables of air pollution data are organized by DEC Region. Data is available for the traditional air pollutants. These tables will generally indicate the number of observations, maximum values, and a comparison with the NAAQS. Annual averages for 2021 and past years are available below.
All network data are submitted to EPA and can be accessed via the EPA Air Quality System (AQS) API in standard units. Summary information for the criteria pollutants is available from EPA using the Monitor Values Report service. For more information, contact dar.web@dec.ny.gov
The DEC website provides links to the last four monitoring reports. I have been downloading and saving these reports for years. Although historical data are available from the EPA, their website is not user friendly if you want to quickly look up some historical values. As a result, I use the old reports and offer them here if anyone else is interested.
